You are asked to close your eyes in order to concentrate inside your mind, and with the therapists voice only, are taken into a deep state of relaxation.

Because hypnosis is a perfectly natural state of mind, it is completely safe. You are guided into a light state, similar to daydreaming, and at no time are you in a trance or under the therapist’s control.

You remain totally aware of what is happening and where you are, and if the need should arise, you will be quite capable of getting up from your chair and walking away. It is not possible to be left in  hypnosis after the therapy finishes and you can not suffer from any harmful after effects with these methods.
